I've been keeping away from the posts for quite a while. My bad. The tail end of the winter kicked the crap out of me mentally. I've lived in the NW for 12 years, and I never remember wanting sunshine so badly. Plus beginning back in October- when the winter first started showing signs- my four closest friends started moving away. First Mike, then Matt, then Chris, and now Stevie. Bummer for sure, and somewhat fitting that everyone left through the span of the winter. I used to love snow and dressing up in warm clothes, but a few years back winter's meaning forever changed for me. It's definitely not just "a weather thing" either...

Anyhow- now that the sun is out, it means motorcycle time. I've been working a lot on the bikes by myself- not the same without Mechanic Mike, but still very theraputic. Today I changed out the front and rear sprockets on the SR and threw a new chain on for good measure. Not as much torque as before with the new size sprockets- but should handle top end speeds a lot better. The main reason for changing out the sprockets is to try and get to the bottom of the wobbly rear of the bike. I'm hoping this did the trick, but if not it's on to the rear wheel bearings. It's like one big experiment- trying to narrow the obvious stuff out one by one.

And I'm not even going to start on the electrical system for the Honda. I'm going to call in for reinforcements on that...
